Accepting Applications for Food & Outdoor Vendors
Join us as a vendor for the McLeod County Fair! We are excited for the opportunity to offer FREE GATE ADMISSION and FREE PARKING to all attendees of the fair again this year. We saw OVER 50,000 ATTENDEES throughout our 4-day event last year and we look forward to similar attendance again this year – or more! You won’t want to miss it! Registration through the online form with payment by credit card is the preferred method, however, there is an option for check payment if needed. Please note that an application will not be considered for approval until all required documents and payment are received. If you need a paper copy mailed to you, please reach out to the fair office.

Vendor Requirements
In order to participate as a vendor and reserve a space, the following must be fully completed and received by the fair office:
- Completed Application: The best way to apply is through the online form. Payment by credit card is preferred, but there is the option to submit and send a check in the mail/drop off at office. Please note that applications are not considered for space until all complete documents and payment are received.
- Payment for space rental and additional items, if any (water, electrical, supply trailer) is required at time of application.
- Completed ST-19 Operators Certificate of Compliance attached to application. A copy of that form to fill out is linked below.
- MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE: All vendors must comply with the MN Department of Revenue. All county fairs are
required to collect and submit a completed ST19 Certificate of Compliance form from all vendors designating a valid MN Sales Tax ID#. See the ST19 pdf link on our website for the form. Upload a completed CURRENT form to this contract application online for each stand. This MUST be completed in advance and on file at time of application. Setup on grounds will not be allowed
without it. Please make sure this is complete prior to sending. If not, revisions will be required and will hold up your
application approval. - A current Certificate of Liability Insurance listing the McLeod County Agricultural Association as additional insured and certificate holder with coverage dates valid during your time at our event attached to application. This certificate needs to be requested from your insurance provider. All vendors must have General Liability Insurance naming the McLeod County Agricultural Association as
ADDITIONAL INSURED AND CERTIFICATE HOLDER with minimum of $1,000,000 general liability coverage.- Additional insured coverage must extend for the full duration your equipment will be on site. Include the event dates AND and account for setup/takedown. Submit the Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the McLeod County
Agricultural Association as additional insured with this contract. The correct certificate must be received at time of
application. Setup on grounds will not be allowed without it. Please check that the dates, additional insured designation
AND certificate holder information are as correct prior to sending. If not, revisions will be required and will hold up your
application approval.
- Additional insured coverage must extend for the full duration your equipment will be on site. Include the event dates AND and account for setup/takedown. Submit the Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the McLeod County
- Amusement and inflatable vendors must also attach a current Affidavit of Amusement Ride Inspection.

Overnight Accommodations
The Fairgrounds has limited camping available. Below is a link to information for local camping and hotel accommodations. The City of Hutchinson and McLeod County have fantastic parks nearby that offer camping but fill fast – plan ahead with a reservation!
